Using both the history of silk and its roots in Macclesfield to explore the threading together of ancient and modern, community and culture, history and myth. Unearthing local materials, skills and stories, this exhibition is a co-creation with the community and Macc College by Grace McLoughlin, a graduate artist from St. Martins School of Art. Includes a public talk by the artist about the project’s journey.
Exhibition will be located at The Copper Room in Charles Roe House from 15th – 24th June 2018.
